Connected to the picturesque island of Burano by the Ponte Longo, a 60-metre wooden bridge, Mazzorbo is a true oasis of peace, a place where everything seems to have stopped and where nature, history and the surrounding lagoon make you feel in harmony with the world. Mazzorbo is renowned for its vineyards, its expanses of fields and orchards, its walks along the lagoon, its small historic village with the Church of Santa Caterina dating back to 1200 that houses the oldest bell in the city, the ancient Benedictine monastery, the medieval walls that protect the Venissa estate, an unmissable destination where you can relax and have lunch among its ancient vines... This beautiful setting makes our property a very special residence. A house facing the lagoon and an annex, a boathouse, a large and wonderful garden of approx. 700 sqm. The first building is on two floors: on the ground floor the kitchen, the living room and the bathroom, on the upper floor the bedroom with a small terrace overlooking the lagoon, a second double bedroom, a single bedroom and a wardrobe room from which a second bathroom can be obtained. The dependance, to the side of the house, is composed of an access veranda, a living room, a kitchenette, a dining area, a double bedroom and a bathroom. From here you exit onto a large terrace overlooking the lagoon with a private pier for mooring boats. The shore is under state concession. The garden is a small park full of fruit trees, exotic plants and arable land. Next to the garden is a tool shed. A residence far from the frenzy of the city and where you can rediscover the serenity that only nature and the Lagoon can offer...but still in our beloved Venice.
